This putty is especially useful for displaying fragile items in museums or at home. It adheres to a variety of surfaces, making it versatile for different applications, such as securing picture frames or decorations on shelves. Its non-toxic composition also makes it a safe choice for use around children and pets.

Is the museum putty removable, and will it damage surfaces?

Yes, Quakehold Museum Putty is removable and typically does not damage most surfaces when used correctly. When you want to reposition or remove the putty, it can easily be peeled away without leaving behind sticky residue or causing surface damage. This feature is particularly beneficial for renters or those who frequently change their decor. However, it’s recommended to test the putty on an inconspicuous area if you're concerned about specific surfaces.

Can I use Quakehold Museum Putty on painted surfaces?

Yes, Quakehold Museum Putty can be safely used on most painted surfaces. Its formulation ensures that it adheres well without causing peeling or paint damage. This quality makes it ideal for securing items on walls adorned with artwork or decorative frames. However, ensure the paint is fully dried and cured to minimize any potential risks. Many users appreciate this feature as it allows them to create stable displays without compromising their walls.
