Irritrol Irrigation System Controllers RD1200-EXT-R Editorial Review
The Irritrol Rain Dial RD1200-EXT-R 12 Station Outdoor Irrigation Controller is a solid and dependable unit that has been used by customers for many years. It is easy to install and operate, making it suitable for homeowners, handymen, and sprinkler installers. However, it does not have wireless or smartphone control options, which some newer controllers offer. One of the standout features of this controller is its reliability. Customers mentioned that they have been using the same unit for over 20 years without any issues. The controller is designed to be used outdoors and is hardwired by an electrician. While the Irritrol Rain Dial RD1200-EXT-R does not have some of the advanced features found in newer controllers, it still performs its main function of controlling irrigation effectively. However, customers who want the convenience of being able to control their irrigation settings remotely may prefer a model with wireless or smartphone control. Overall, the Irritrol Rain Dial RD1200-EXT-R is a dependable and easy-to-use irrigation controller with a long lifespan. It may not have all the bells and whistles of newer models, but it gets the job done effectively.
