The Delta Faucet RP5836 is a pull-down diverter tub spout that comes with a slip-on adapter and 2 o-rings. Although a few customers were frustrated with some minor issues, many found it easy to install and a good replacement for a faulty spout. Some customers reported replacement of their 20-year-old Delta spout with this one, which worked fine. It is made of plastic and not metal, which confused a few customers. The spout is not designed to connect with portable dishwashers. The tub spout comes with two different adapters, one for 1/2 inch copper, and the other for 1/2 inch threaded pipes. The tube includes a slip-on adapter that goes to the back of the pipe. The RP12307 adapter is suggested over the RP33794 for lower leakage instances.
