Questions et réponses des clients

  • question: What kind of cable does it support?

répondre: It supports 23 to 26 AWG solid or stranded wire and is backwards compatible with Cat 6 and Cat 5e bulk cable.
  • question: What is the maximum network application it can support?

répondre: It can support network applications up to 30W with a Cat 6A Ethernet cable.
  • question: What are the standards it complies with?

répondre: It is compatible with a PoE IP camera or PoE access point and complies to UL listed flammability rating, TIA/EIA 568-C.2, IEEE 802.3an 10GBASE-T, and ISO/IEC 11801 Class E
  • question: Will these work with stranded cable?

répondre: Your only supposed to use solid core on keystone jacks and stranded with RJ45 plastic crimps. Might work but not suggested for commercial applications. At home, tinker all you want.
  • question: Will these fit standard wall plates?

répondre: Yes, they will fit standard keystone plates.
  • question: Will this work with 26AWG cables?

répondre: Yes, this does work with 26AWG cables.
  • question: If I wire the jack incorrectly, can it be reused for a second try?

    répondre: Yes.
  • question: What additional item will I need to fit these in a panel mount wall plate?

répondre: Need more information to answer your question. As the picture shows, there is a clip on top and there is a détente on the bottom to snap it into a keystone wall plate.
  • question: Can a punch down tool be used with these jacks?

répondre: No, the new version of this product is no longer compatible with punch down tools.
  • question: Do you make this product for Cat5e as well?

répondre: Yes, you can use these with Cat5e cables, shielded or unshielded. If unshielded, you defeat the purpose of using them though.
  • question: Will these work with flat ethernet cables?

répondre: No, these are primarily designed for shielded round cables. Flat cables will not be held correctly and the shielding properties would be lost.
