The table sits at 28.5 inches from the floor and offers plenty of clearance underneath for a filing cabinet. It is also sturdy on hard floors, but wobbles on carpet. The desktop is thick and has a nice finish, but unfortunately, the box-like legs do not attach securely with provided hardware. It may be necessary to purchase additional mounting hardware to ensure stability over time.
