SCI Scandicrafts Skillets C4134 Editorial Review
The SCI Scandicrafts Corn Bread Skillet 8-Section, Cast Iron is a great iron skillet for making cornbread. While slightly smaller than some customers expected, it is still perfect for a regular recipe of cornbread. The pan has good heat distribution, allowing each section to come to the top without spilling over, and it makes for some really crunchy pieces. However, there are some downsides to this product as well. Some customers have reported that the skillet seems to rust no matter how it is stored or cleaned. Additionally, a few customers have expressed disappointment in the size of the pan, finding it too small in diameter. One customer mentioned that the pan is about 3/4" thick, which may not be ideal for those looking to make thick cornbread. Overall, the SCI Scandicrafts Corn Bread Skillet 8-Section, Cast Iron is a decent product for making cornbread, but it has some flaws such as the potential for rusting and the smaller size.
