Guitars Editorial Review
**** The *Classical Guitar Compendium* is a meticulously curated collection that caters to solo guitarists looking to delve into the world of classical music. Featuring a broad spectrum of pieces, it reflects a thoughtful arrangement that takes players from late beginner to intermediate levels. Users have praised the logical progression in difficulty, which not only aids in skill development but also promotes a deeper enjoyment of music through varied repertoire. The range of works spans renowned composers like Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart, making it a helpful resource for those wishing to expand their classical guitar repertoire with instant recognizability in various settings. The notation, comprising standard notation paired with tablature, is generally Considered user-friendly, though it does face some critique due to the small font size of the tablature, which may require some users to enlarge the pages for comfort. Additionally, while some players find it beneficial, the lack of detailed finger positioning adds a layer of challenge that might deter early beginners. Players appreciate the inclusion of audio downloads, which serve as valuable aids in learning the pieces, although the desire for video tutorials indicates a strong interest in visual learning aids as well. Overall, the compendium is well-received, with many users noting the satisfaction that comes from mastering the pieces within, despite the challenges they present. It is seen as a worthwhile investment for those passionate about classical guitar, encouraging both patience and dedication in its players. **
