OnStage Footstools DT8000 Editorial Review

The On-Stage Guitar Stool (DT8000) has garnered a mixed reception from its users, primarily among musicians who utilize it for gigs and practice sessions. Many customers appreciate its sturdy Construction, which is particularly noticeable compared to cheaper models, bringing an upgraded experience to performances. The stool’s weight, approximately 14 lbs, is Considered a sign of quality as it provides stability during use. Users have noted ease of setup and storage, making it a practical choice for mobile musicians. However, the feedback also highlights some significant drawbacks. A recurrent theme is the uncomfortably firm seat cushion, which some users find makes longer sessions less enjoyable. Concerns about the durability of the backrest are prominent, with several customers reporting that it tends to loosen over time, affecting overall support. While the stool’s design includes an adjustable backrest and a guitar hanger feature, the hanger has limitations, particularly for users with electric bass guitars. Additionally, the assembly and disassembly of the stool can be cumbersome, with some users mentioning parts that bind or misuse instructions. Overall, while the DT8000 does deliver on stability and functionality, potential buyers should weigh the comfort issues and durability concerns when Considering it for long-term use. **
