TC Electronic Loopers & Samplers DITTO STEREO LOOPER Editorial Review
The TC Electronic Ditto X2 is a stereo looper that allows users to record and loop up to 5 minutes of audio. It has an undo function and a stop/pause function that requires a double-tap to stop and a tap to resume playback. The looper does not come with a power adaptor, and buyers need to purchase a nine-volt battery or a nine-volt power supply. Users can upload their loops to their PC and then download them back to the Ditto. The Ditto X2's sound quality is exceptional due to its 24-bit processor. The looper can be used to loop a variety of musical instruments or a studio. One drawback is that the looper goes through 9V batteries quickly, and finding a power adapter can be challenging. Customer reception of the Ditto X2 is generally positive, with many commending its sound quality and ease of use. Some customers felt there was a small learning curve when using the looper, while others found it a fun and useful pedal suitable for practice. Concerns included difficulty in nail the loop cutoff point for sensitive tracks such as drumming and needing to reset the pedal to address unwanted noise issues. **
