Dial Evaporator Accessories 6395883 Editorial Review
The Evaporative Cooler Digital Controller has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers, with many praising its effectiveness and ease of installation. Users highlight its ability to accurately regulate the temperature in their homes once calibrated, ensuring comfort without the frequent manual adjustments that can be cumbersome. The automatic pad wetting cycle, which lasts about four minutes, is lauded by some as a beneficial feature that aids in efficient cooling, although a few users have noted that it generates additional heat and might appear excessive after extended use. Many customers appreciate the straightforward installation process, often requiring only basic electrical knowledge. The digital controller integrates smoothly into existing setups, with features that allow for individual customization of settings based on user preferences. The thermostat functionality, along with the ability to set a desired temperature, brings peace of mind for those worried about the well-being of pets or the home's climate while away. However, there have been some mentions of issues with temperature accuracy over time, particularly after several months of use. A few users experienced the device failing to turn off when it should have, leading to discomfort. Others pointed out that the physical fit within older electrical boxes can be tight, raising some installation challenges. Additionally, the controller does not retain its memory after power interruptions, reverting back to a default temperature setting, which has frustrated some users. Overall, this digital controller appears to be a solid investment for those seeking reliable temperature control in hot climates, enhancing the functionality of evaporative coolers while offering user-friendly features. **
