The product works well with salt water and is great for cleaning an in-ground pool of approximately 30' X 12'. The cord tangling does not seem to be a serious issue with the Premier. It typically runs for 2-3 hours, depending on the pool's dirtiness. The bag filter is excellent and works amazingly if you get behind and end up with algae. However, cleaning the dirty bag is a real hassle. While the product works well, some customers have reported issues with the power unit failing and needing to be replaced, which can be a time-Consuming and frustrating process. Another challenge is that the pool cleaner can leave a cloud of muck behind when pulled out of the water, making it difficult to empty and clean. While most people have not experienced a problem and are highly satisfied with the Dolphin Premier, the cost of replacing parts and the price tag for this pool cleaner are relatively high.
